For 2020 I wanted a challenge for myself, something to really push my limits. After being inspired by other designers taking on this social media challenge in 2019, I decided it was my turn.

I used this project as a whole to refine my skills, find my personal style, and learn new programs and techniques. Through the year-long project, I improved my working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, taught myself some basics in Cinema4D, and began to work with video in After Effects.

The biggest challenge I faced was coming up with a new design daily and having it ready in time for my personal deadline. I overcame this by continually working to discover new techniques, layouts, subject matter, and most importantly, forcing myself out of my comfort zone.

As a result of this project, my confidence as a designer has reached new highs, and I hope to continue growing and improving both in my personal and professional work.

Even though I no longer have a daily deadline, I'm still passionate about this project and I continue to create posters.
